MSTP Network (Surveillance System Configuration for Terminal Device)
- Video Transmission Path: the analog video signal from the camera is inputted into SV-220-IP encoder through matrix or other analog equipment in the headend. The SV-220-IP encoder outputs MPEG-2 standard transport streaming (TS) after conducting the process on the analog picture, and the TS is then transmitted to the transmission network through the Ethernet interface of SV-220-IP.
- Remote Control Path of the Encoder: the server of the control center sends out the control order, the encoding equipment receives this control order through the Ethernet interface and modifies the parameter or operation status of the encoder as per the order.
- Remote Control Path of the Analog Equipment in the Station: the control path of the analog equipment can be achieved by the following two ways:
-- Through the RS-232/422 interface of SV-220-IP: the server of the control center sends out the control order for analog equipment. The encoder receives the order from the Ethernet interface, and then re-sends the order to RS-232/422 interface. The analog equipment can then receive the order and make judgement on whether further actions are required.
-- The transmission equipment provides the RS-232 path from control center to terminal stations.
- Monitoring System for Local Toll Station: the video monitoring function of the toll station is mainly fulfilled by matrix. The operation staff can control the matrix, pan/tilt and camera through the control keyboard. The video recorder can store the monitoring video, and the PC in the network can transfer the stored information through the network interface of the recorder.

MSTP Network (Surveillance System Configuration for Monitoring Center)
- Video Transmission Path: SV-110-IP Decoder receives TS from the network, restores it to analog video signal and sends it to the monitor through the terminal analog equipment.
- Toll Station Equipment Control Path: the video server receives the order from analog keyboard, analyzes it and then transmits the order to the corresponding encoding equipment through transmission network. The order is then re-transmitted from the low-rate path of the encoding equipment.
